When
you consider the evidence of his fingerprints on the crimes against
us,
then you want
to stop him.
But he is a
"Done Deal"
We done misunderestimated him.
The only way to stop him now is to stop McCain/Palin from
happening.
VOTE OBAMA!
I
have to admit
and put to you an unseemly conclusion that George W. Bush has had
an extremely successful presidency.
Not probably in the way that the masses that voted for him the first two times would think, I feel.
Not probably regarding the issues that the masses that have grown to hate him would consider either.
It has been, as he would say, "sublminable"
By taking advantage of the disastrous, devastating and dastardly ignoble 9/11 attack on our own soil he had turned our pain and anguish and righteous anger and channeled that drive and energy into his own pre-existing desire to attack Iraq. A plan he knew before 9/11 that he could never summon the public will to undertake.
He successfully executed the lesson from the late conservative economist Milton Friedman:
"Only a crisis, actual or perceived, produces real change. When that crisis occurs the actions taken depend on the ideas that are around"
This lesson from the Chicago school of economics teacher was applied to change our direction of revenge and justice.
With this all-enabling power we had invested in this "crisis leader", this not just President, but now Commander-In-Chief, this Decider, he made this big switch with the full and willing acceptance and support of the public.
The public who wanted to believe that in a crisis our Leader would be guided by his better angels.
(Now this myth has been dispelled - this wishful want of the ideal leader to lead us ALL)
But it was the perfect cover to do his misdeeds and his tinkering with our government and our heritage of civil governance.
Bush was successful too in the dismantling of the federal government.
Not by eliminating people or offices but by filling positions with an army of foxes to guard the henhouses that were their responsibility.
Performing with benign neglect and open contempt of the duties that were their charge.
While in control often tweeking directives and laws and rules in order to be ineffective or inadequate. Always reversing the purpose of their appointed duties.
Consumer Protection, Environmental Management, Civil Rights, Emergency Services all suffered from converting effective, professional competency into sycophantic loyalty to the Great Dismantling.
The enactment of conservative guru Grover Norquist's infamous declarative to "make government small enough to drown in a bathtub".
Success also for his "moving the goods" as the store manager.
By unloading tons and tons of arsenal and armaments in the War On Iraq beginning with the Shock and Awe. Clearing out the back shelves of all ordinance and ammunition.
Thereby initiating the great need to re-supply our bunkers with fresh wares from all his friends in the defense industries.
More missles, more bombs, more rockets and planes. More guns and bullets.
AAI Corporation, BAE Systems, General Dyamics, General Electric, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Nortrup Grumman, Raytheon, United Technologies,
and not to mention Bush Daddie's own Carlyle Group.
All participated in restocked our depleted armory.
All profited.
Also for these and similar providers, an exceptional support and promotion for their services and goods with sales of such armaments to many many nations around the globe.
This last several months has been an unprecedented salesman's push by the Bush Administration to sell sell sell the rest of the world.
(consequently, when this economic crash hits bottom after the turn of the year, these players will be Cash Heavy and ready to grab up all the buying opportunities).
Arms sales include $20 billion to Saudi Arabia,
The United States has long been the top arms supplier to the world. In the past several years, however, the list of nations that rely on the United States as a primary source of major weapons systems has greatly expanded. Among the recent additions are Argentina, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Georgia, India, Iraq, Morocco and Pakistan, according to sales data through the end of last month provided by the Department of Defense. Cumulatively, these countries signed $870 million worth of arms deals with the United States from 2001 to 2004. For the past four fiscal years, that total has been $13.8 billion.

Then, of course, the Supreme Court. Bush has managed to place two, TWO very conservative justices on to the Supreme Court.
A fete that most presidents can barely achieve once.
And now the conservative tilted court has several members that will be in our lives and in our faces for the rest of our lives. I will be seeing them until I die.
This, to me, was his most successful move.
