Do you
think the American people would have supported the invasion of Iraq
if we were told before we invaded Iraq in 2003 that Iraq had NO
weapons of mass destruction, NO stockpile of deadly nerve gas and
that they were NOT responsible for the attacks on 9/11?
2.
Do you think, knowing
the above, that
the American people would have supported the invasion of Iraq if
they were told that over 4,000 American soldiers would be killed in
the war, that over 30,000 American soldiers would be seriously
wounded in the war and that over 150,000 innocent Iraqi men, women
and children would be killed? That we would be in Iraq for 5 years,
10 years or 20 years or maybe longer. That the war would cost the
American taxpayers a trillion dollars?

Do you think if the American people were told that the reason we
were invading Iraq was to create a ‘democratic’ country and to
accomplish this goal would cost thousands of American lives,
trillions of American dollars and that it would take 5-10-20 years
or more? That it would weaken American militarily, financially, and
morally that we would lose the trust, respect and support of our
long term allies?

Do you think the American people were told the truth about the
reasons we invaded Iraq?
