Who Served?
Who Did Not?
When the guy who never went
sends your kid
to fight & die
it bothers me.
I never went when it was
my time
But I am not ringing the
war bell.

I don't know.
Sometimes I get a bug and it itches.
Today I felt very royally pissed off about chickenhawks.
Chickenhawks really really really get to me.

Today I am just really ticked off about chickenhawks.

I was 3-A (married w/children and a student) when the VietNam war began.
I was lucky in that way.
I was never in the military. But I was against that war too.
My heart goes out to those who did go and especially those who suffered and died.
But I would never send someone else's kid to fight and die for misguided reasons.

Someone who has served and is for this war OK
 hawk/hawk
Someone who has served and is against this war OK
hawk/dove
Someone who has NOT served and is against this war OK
 dove/dove
But Someone who has not served and wants to send YOUR kid is NOT OK.
 hawk/chicken
And Someone who is FOR this war and WILL NOT serve is a creep
. chicken/hawk
OK?

The hypocrisy of the Republicans who lead us into this situation is astounding.
The red herrings and straw dogs they throw out to distract the public about themselves about this is overwhelming.

Why can't more of the American public see through this deception?

The
Chickenhawk List shows all the Republican leaders who began this Iraq drama and encouraged it.
Did you see the list?  Did you see who among them had served in the military?

Go look - see
here.

It all reminds me of a WW II era comedy movie where a drunk soldier in a bar picks a fight with a sailor.
Soon the bar erupts into a brawl because all the soldiers have to support the one asshole who was an idiot.

This would be funny
if it was not so sad:
